Tanzania

The flag of Tanzania features a yellow fimbriated black diagonal band from the lower hoist of the flag to the upper fly of the flag. Above the black diagonal band sits a green triangle whilst below the black diagonal band sits a blue triangle.

The countries of Tanganyika and Zanzibar joined together in 1964 to form Tanzania. The flag of Tanzania was officially adopted on 30 June 1964 and brings together the colours from the separate flags of Tanganyika and Zanzibar to form a unified flag.

The flag's ratio is 2:3.
