Spain Estelada Catalan Independence

This Spain Estelada Catalan Independence flag is an unofficial flag used by supporters of the Catalan Independence movement. The flag comprises nine alternating horizontal stripes of yellow (top and bottom) and red as per the Catalonian flag; however, it also contains a white five-pointed star inside a blue triangle at the hoist of the flag.

The Estelada flag has been around since the early 20th century; however, has gained popularity as a symbol of Catalan nationalism since the 1970s.

The flag's ratio is 2:3.
