Spain Catalonia

This Spain Catalonia flag is the official flag of Catalonia, an autonomous community of Spain. The flag comprises nine alternating horizontal stripes of yellow (top and bottom) and red. The flag is sometimes referred to as the 'Senyera' (meaning 'flag' in Catalan).

The Catalonia flag was officially adopted on 25 May 1933; however, has been in use since the 13th century (it was outlawed between 1939 and 1975).

The flag's ratio is 2:3.
