The flag of Puerto Rico consists of five equal horizontal bands of the colours red and white, with the colour red on both the top and bottom of the flag. A blue triangle sits on the hoist side of the flag inside which sits a white five pointed star. The flag of Puerto Rico was officially adopted in 1952. The flag's ratio is 2:3.
