The flag of Mali is a vertical tricolour featuring the colours (from the hoist side of the flag to the fly side of the flag) green, yellow and green. The flag's colours are the Pan-African colours whilst its design is drawn from the French flag, reflecting Mali's French colonial past.

The flag of Mali was officially adopted on 1 March 1961.

The flag's ratio is 2:3.
