The flag of Liechtenstein is a horizontal bicolour of blue (top of the flag) and red (bottom of the flag), with a crown in the flag's canton.
The flag of Liechtenstein dates back to 1764 and was officially recognised by the country's constitution in 1921. However, the flag's crown was only adopted on 24 June 1937 - this followed the 1936 Summer Olympic Games where the Liechtenstein delegation discovered that their flag was identical to the flag of Haiti.
The flag's ratio is 3:5.
