Part of our range of LGBT Pride flags, this Gay Pride Leather flag comprises nine horizintal stripes alternating (from the top of the flag to the bottom of the flag) with the colours black and blue with a white stripe in the centre of the flag. In the upper left of the flag sits a red heart. The Gay Pride Leather flag is a symbol used to represent the leather subculture and was designed by Tony DeBlase in 1989. DeBlase did not explain the meaning by the flag's colours and symbols and instead left it open to interpretation.
