The flag of Eswatini is a horizontal tricolour featuring the colours (from the top of the flag to the bottom of the flag) blue, red (triple width) and blue, with each band separated by a narrow yellow band. At the centre of the flag is a large Nguni shield covering two assegais (spears) and a staff decorated by injobo tassels.
The flag of Eswatini was officially adopted on 6 October 1968, shortly after the country gained its independence from Britain.
The flag's ratio is 2:3.
