The flag of Antigua And Barbuda is set on a red field and features an inverted triangle along the top of the flag featuring the colours (from the top of the flag to the bottom of the flag) black, blue and white, with a yellow rising sun with nine rays in the black section of the triangle.
The flag of Antigua And Barbuda was designed by sculptor Sir Reginald Samuel following a flag design competition. The flag was officially adopted on 27 February 1967 following Antigua And Barbuda gaining its independence. The flag's rising sun is said to symbolise the dawn of a new era for the country.
The flag's ratio is 2:3.
