This Sryia 1980-2024 flag is a past flag of Syria. The flag consists of a horizontal tricolour with the colours (from the top of the flag to the bottom of the flag) red, white and black. In the centre of the white band sit two green five-pointed stars. The flag was first adopted in 1958 and was used until 1961 before its readoption on 30 March 1980. On 8 December 2024 the flag ceased to be the national flag of Syria. The flag's ratio is 2:3.
