Netherlands Antilles 1959-1986

This Netherlands Antilles flag was the official flag of the Netherlands Antilles from 1959-1986. The flag of the Netherlands Antilles from 1959-1986 was set on a white background and featured a horizontal blue stripe across its centre, superimposed on top of a vertical red stripe of the same width. Centred within the blue stripe are six white five-pointed stars, each representing one of the six main islands of the Netherlands Antilles - Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Saba, Sint Eustatius and Sint Maarten.
