Bi Pride flag

Part of our range of LGBT Pride flags, this Bi Pride flag is a horizontal tribar with (from the top of the flag to the bottom of the flag) the colours pink, lavender and blue. The lavender stripe in the centre of the flag is half the size of the pink and blue stripes above and below it. The Bi Pride flag was designed in 1998 by Michael Page to represent the bisexual community and was first flown at the BiCafe's first anniversary party on 5 December 1998. According to Page, the colour pink represents sexual attraction to the same sex only, the colour blue represents attraction to the opposite sex only and the resultant overlap of the two colours in lavender represents sexual attraction to both sexes.
